The Colosseum requires mandatory entry procedures and mandatory security check that must be carried out. This may delay the tour departure especially on national holidays, weekends and during high season.
Everyone, also children/under 18 must carry ID passports or a valid identity document (also a digital copy), because the Colosseum staff may ask to check them at the entrance.
The Colosseum area is an open archaeological park and for this reason is not equipped with sun/rain covers and shops. The local operator is not responsible for any kind of discomfort due to this.

From October 25, 2026 to February 28, 2027: Opening Hours of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; Last Entry: 3:30 PM. The Archaeological Park closes at 4:30 PM. Make sure to plan your visit accordingly to fully enjoy these historic sites!
