Frida was born in this house, painted in this house, and died in this house. That is why the Blue House doesn't feel like a museum: it isn’t just a collection—it’s her life, left exactly as she spent it. You'll see her studio with her paintbrushes set out, her wheelchair positioned before the easel, and the traditional dresses from Appearances Can Be Deceiving—worn both to look magnificent and to physically support her body. Outside lies the garden, where she spent countless hours when her body simply couldn't give any more. A local guide shares the stories behind every room: the life-altering accident at 18, her long years in bed, Diego, and everything she created through it all. Small groups, no rush. Timed-entry ticket included, plus admission to the Anahuacalli Museum.
